A hemodialysis chair is the patient's seat for the whole session — it is not the dialysis machine: we build the chair. The CURA flex range is manufactured at the Medica-Lab Group factory in Madinah Industrial Area, under SFDA local manufacturer licence ML-2023-MD-0885, an ISO 13485:2016 quality system and the Saudi Made mark. Five models run from a manual two-function chair to a five-function electric chair with emergency Trendelenburg, and every one of them converts to a flat 195 cm bed.

Dialysis chairs in Saudi tenders and NUPCO orders
Medica-Lab Group for Industry is registered with NUPCO under supplier code 401663, with 33 line items awarded on framework NPT0027-24 for medical furniture. The chair line items on the framework are the blood-drawing and injection chairs (MLH-12) and the laboratory chair (MLC-25). Why a dialysis centre chooses a Saudi-made chair
Local manufacture under an SFDA licence
The distance between factory and centre shows up in three places: lead time, spare parts and service response. Stock configurations ship in two to three weeks; project quantities take six to ten weeks from confirmed order. Spare parts are held in-Kingdom for at least ten years after a model is discontinued, and installation, staff handover and warranty work are done by our own teams. A Saudi-made unit also carries the Saudi Made mark and the SFDA licence that tender files ask for.

The platform is 195 cm long and 60 cm wide across the range, and every model converts to a full flat bed. Height is 55 cm on the manual MLH-15, the electric MLH-07 and the MLH-06T, 75 cm on the MLH-06 and 80 cm on the MLH-06I. Electric models come with movable armrests, an adjustable footrest and a lower storage shelf; the manual chair has an adjustable stainless steel IV pole and silent braked castors. Emergency Trendelenburg at 16° is available on the MLH-06T and MLH-06I. Options include a chair table and a paper roll holder.

What is the difference between a hemodialysis chair and a dialysis machine?
The hemodialysis chair is the patient seat used throughout the session; depending on the model, it converts into a flat bed and provides positioning and an emergency position. The dialysis machine is the medical device that performs the treatment itself. We manufacture the chair, not the machine, and supply it to dialysis centres and hospitals.
What specifications suit a dialysis centre chair?
Start with bed conversion and the 195 × 60 cm platform, then function count and manual or electric operation, then emergency Trendelenburg if the specification calls for it, then movable armrests, an adjustable footrest and a lower storage shelf, and finally easy-clean upholstery and silent braked castors.
How many chairs does a dialysis centre need?

What determines the price of a hemodialysis chair?
Function count and manual or electric operation come first, then the number of actuators, whether Trendelenburg is included, the upholstery material and colour, the armrests, footrest and castor type, and accessories such as the chair table and paper roll holder — then quantity, delivery city and the warranty and installation package. We do not publish prices because the configuration changes them: send us the chair count and configuration and you get a written quotation.
Are hemodialysis chairs on the NUPCO framework?
No. Hemodialysis chairs are not among the lines awarded to Medica-Lab on NUPCO framework NPT0027-24; the framework's chair line items are the blood-drawing and injection chairs (MLH-12) and the laboratory chair (MLC-25). Hemodialysis chairs are supplied against direct hospital tenders and purchases, with the same supplier documentation (SFDA local-manufacturer licence and ISO 13485 certificate) and the same local manufacturing.
