Introducing MEDcare Santron — engineered for reliability

HOSPIcare introduced the MEDcare Santron line, the group's flagship ICU bed, engineered for reliability in demanding clinical environments — electric positioning, an integrated weighing scale, a digital nurse control panel and a bed-exit alarm with low-position indicator among its core features.

Santron was developed for intensive-care and long-term-care wards, where a bed is in constant use and downtime affects patient care directly — hence the emphasis on integrated monitoring and fail-safe mechanical controls. It is manufactured under the same ISO 13485-certified, SFDA-licensed process that applies across the HOSPIcare range.

The Santron name today covers two configurations — the standard Santron and the higher-specification Santron Pro — reflecting how far the platform has grown since its introduction, from a single bed model to a full ICU line.
