2019 — Hemodialysis department equipped at Salam Specialized Hospital

In 2019, Medica-Lab equipped the hemodialysis department at Salam Specialized Hospital with dedicated dialysis chairs and supporting medical furniture — a department with different equipment needs from a general in-patient ward.

Hemodialysis chairs need to support patients through multi-hour treatment sessions, several times a week, so positioning, comfort and ease of cleaning between patients all matter in a way that differs from a standard hospital bed. It is one of the product categories the group manufactures specifically for outpatient clinical departments, alongside general ward furniture.

Salam Specialized Hospital was one of several dialysis-department projects the group completed as its hemodialysis chair range matured — equipment that today spans multiple configurations, from three-function to Trendelenburg-capable models.
