The MLC-65 step stool adds a second step to give patients extra height when a bed or examination couch sits too high for the single-step version to bridge comfortably. Each tread carries an anti-slip top, and the stool covers a 400 by 550 mm footprint at a full 400 mm height, enough for two comfortable strides up rather than one long one.
Because both steps share the same anti-slip finish, the stool stays secure to climb whether a patient is stepping up or turning to sit down on the couch above it. It complements the single step stool elsewhere in the CURA flex range, for beds and couches of different heights.

Should we choose the double MLC-65 or the single MLC-64 step stool?
Choose the MLC-65 where a bed or couch sits well above chair height and a single step would be an awkward reach. Where the step-up is more modest, around 25 cm, the single MLC-64 is enough and takes up less floor space beside the couch.
Are the MLC-65's steps slip-resistant?
Yes. Both treads of the MLC-65 carry the same leather-covered anti-slip top, which keeps footing secure whether a patient is stepping up or turning to sit down on the couch above it. A maximum user weight is not published for the stool; ask us for it if your risk assessment needs it.
