FAQ

What is the Two-Function Manual hospital bed MLP-31?

The Two-Function Manual Bed (MLP-31) is a hospital bed operated by a hand crank, with the backrest inclining to 75 degrees and the leg rest to 50 degrees, on a frame 210 cm long, 95 cm wide and 53 cm high. It has an IV pole, a urine bag holder, removable ABS panels, and needs no power source.

Is a safe working load published for the MLP-31 manual bed?

The Two-Function Manual Bed (MLP-31) is rated to a safe working load of 250 kg, which covers most adult patients. For heavier patients, the bariatric MLP-11 and MLP-12 beds in the same Prime Care range are rated to 300 kg.

Who is the MLP-31 manual hospital bed suited to?

The MLP-31 suits general wards, clinics and home care where a carer adjusts the position by hand. Because it needs no power connection, it can be placed anywhere in a ward or home, and it comes with an IV pole, a urine bag holder and removable ABS head and foot panels.

What's the difference between the manual MLP-31 and an electric bed like the MLP-01?

The MLP-31 is adjusted by hand crank and needs no power connection; its two functions are the backrest, up to 75°, and the leg rest, up to 50°, on a 53 cm high frame. The MLP-01 offers multi-function electric positioning with a 48 to 81 cm height range and can take options such as a backup battery and CPR system.

Does the manual MLP-31 bed need electrical maintenance?

No. The MLP-31 is crank-operated and needs no power connection, so it has no motors, batteries or control panel to service. If a part does need replacing, spare parts are held locally, shipped from within the region and remain available for at least 10 years after a model is discontinued.

How long does delivery take, and do you assemble the MLP-31 on site?

Standard MLP-31 configurations in stock ship within 2 to 3 weeks; made-to-order quantities for a ward or hospital project take 6 to 10 weeks from the confirmed order, and we confirm a firm date in writing with every quotation. We deliver in Saudi Arabia and Egypt, and delivery includes assembly, positioning and a handover session for your staff, with no separate charge for standard installation.
