F5 Medical Bed

The F5 Medical Bed is a full-featured Saudi-made bed from the MEDcare line: the patient controls head, knees and up/down movement, while the nurse panel adds cardiac chair, Trendelenburg, auto-contour and CPR control. It runs on mains power with a rechargeable backup battery.

The F5 medical bed measures 200 cm long and 90 cm wide, with a height that adjusts from 48 to 81 cm. These are the same platform dimensions as the multi-function MLP-01, so the F5 fits the same room layouts and door widths that a standard Prime Care bed does.

The F5 ships with a 14 cm thick pressure-reducing mattress. A foam mattress is also available as an option, as are an IV pole, a night light and the MLA-23 and MLA-24 over-bed tables, so the accessories your ward needs can be specified in the same order.

Both are MEDcare electric beds on the NUPCO framework: the F5 (MLH-01) is awarded as 'Bed Electrical Basic' and the Santron (MLH-01S) as 'Bed Electrical Mid Range'. The F5 comes with a rechargeable backup battery, CPR control and a 14 cm pressure-reducing mattress as standard. The Santron is the ICU model, with an integrated X-ray cassette holder and central braking with directional lock.

The F5 has a rechargeable backup battery as standard, so it can fall back on battery power when the mains supply fails. A nurse-side CPR control is also standard. On the Prime Care beds, by contrast, a backup battery and a CPR system are options that must be specified when you order.
