MEDcare is the HOSPIcare intensive-care line, and the Santron is its flagship ICU bed. These are the beds for ICU, CCU, post-operative recovery and high-dependency units, where positioning is clinical rather than a matter of comfort. Every ICU hospital bed in the line is manufactured in Madinah, Saudi Arabia, under ISO 13485:2016, licensed by the SFDA (ML-2023-MD-0885) and carries the Saudi Made mark.
Three models cover the unit. The Santron delivers flat, cardiac chair, Trendelenburg and reverse Trendelenburg positioning with an integrated X-ray cassette holder, central braking with directional lock and under-bed lighting. The Santron Pro adds an integrated weighing scale, a digital nurse control panel and a bed-exit alarm. The F5 (MLH-01) pairs electric patient control with a nurse-side panel, CPR control and a rechargeable backup battery.
In Saudi Arabia, the MEDcare Santron and the F5 are on the NUPCO framework NPT0027-24 under supplier code 401663. The Santron Pro is not on the framework and is supplied against direct tenders.

The Santron ICU bed size is 215 cm long by 95 cm wide, with a height range of 45–75 cm. Positioning modes cover flat examination, cardiac chair, bed entry and exit, Trendelenburg and reverse Trendelenburg, controlled from a side patient panel and the standard footboard control. The integrated X-ray cassette holder lets imaging happen without moving the patient.
Central braking with a directional lock, under-bed lighting for night rounds, side bumpers with an integrated IV pole and a hygienic removable sleep surface complete the hospital-grade construction. An orthopedic arm is available as an option.
Santron Pro: weighing scale, nurse panel and bed-exit alarm
The Santron Pro keeps the same 215 × 95 cm footprint and 45–75 cm height range and adds the monitoring an advanced ICU asks for: an integrated patient weighing scale, a digital nurse control panel with display, a footboard display screen, a bed-exit alarm with a low-position indicator, and under-bed and side lighting. It carries all standard Santron positioning and safety functions, with the orthopedic arm as an option. Because it sits outside the NUPCO framework, it is quoted against direct tenders.
F5 medical bed for high-dependency and step-down units
The F5 (MLH-01) gives the patient head, knee and height control and gives the nurse a panel with lockouts, cardiac chair, Trendelenburg, auto-contour and CPR control. Side rails carry integrated controls; central braking and bumpers protect the frame; a rechargeable backup battery keeps the bed running if mains power fails. It ships with a 14 cm pressure-reducing mattress, an integrated foot extension, head and foot panels and a drainage bag holder, with a foam mattress, IV pole, night light and over-bed tables (MLA-23/24) as options.
