Learn MoreAbout this line
PRIME care is the HOSPIcare range of hospital beds for in-patient wards: internal medicine, surgery, maternity and long-stay units. Every medical bed in the line is built in our own factories in Madinah, Saudi Arabia and Badr City, Egypt, under an ISO 13485:2016 quality system. Saudi-made beds carry the Saudi Made mark under SFDA licence ML-2023-MD-0885.
The range starts with a two-function manual bed (MLP-31) for general wards and moves up through three-function beds to a multi-function electric bed (MLP-01) and bariatric frames with a 300 kg safe working load (MLP-11, MLP-12). All share one platform: silent braked castors, detachable ABS head and foot boards and a stainless steel IV pole, so a hospital can mix models across floors, train staff once and stock one set of spare parts.
Hospital beds in Saudi Arabia ship from Madinah; hospital beds in Egypt ship from Badr City. Both plants build the full range, with bedside cabinets and over-bed tables delivered in the same shipment.
Manual or electric hospital bed: choosing by ward
A manual hospital bed is adjusted by crank. The MLP-31 offers two manual positioning functions, backrest inclination to 75° and leg-rest inclination to 50°, with an IV pole and urine bag holder on a 210 × 95 cm frame. The MLP-32 adds an integrated toilet opening operated by a manual crank, for reduced-mobility and long-stay patients.
Electric models move positioning to a handset. The MLP-02 is a three-function PRIME care bed on a 200 × 90 cm platform; the MLP-01 adds multi-function electric positioning and high-endurance castors. Options across the electric platform include a backup battery, CPR system, radiolucent backrest, under-bed lighting, bed extension and central braking.
Bariatric beds and side-rail beds
The MLP-11 and the wide-platform MLP-12 are three-function bariatric beds rated to a 300 kg safe working load, with a 120 cm sleeping surface and a low 61 cm height. The MLP-03 pairs three positioning functions with full-length side rails. The MLP-21 CareLuxe combines three-function positioning with wooden-finish head and footboards for long-term and home-care settings, with a platform height range of 360–710 mm.
Hospital beds manufacturer for Saudi Arabia and Egypt
Local production is the point. HOSPIcare beds are made by Medica-Lab Group, founded in 1984 in Egypt by Dr Hesham Swilam; the Badr City factory opened in 1994 and the Madinah factory in 2022. Building locally means shorter lead times, spare parts held in the region for at least ten years after a model is discontinued, and warranty work by our own service teams: two years on the structure and mechanism, one year on electrical components and actuators.
Hospital bed price: what determines it
A hospital bed price depends on the number of positioning functions and whether they are manual or electric, the options fitted (backup battery, CPR system, radiolucent backrest, central braking), the quantity ordered, the delivery city, the warranty and service package, and whether installation and staff handover are included. Send us your specification or tender line items and we will return a written quotation, model by model.
FAQ
What is the difference between a 2-function and a 3-function medical bed?
The two manual functions on the MLP-31 are backrest inclination to 75° and leg-rest inclination to 50°, both by crank. Three-function beds such as the MLP-02, MLP-03, MLP-11, MLP-12 and MLP-21 add a third positioning function; on the MLP-21 the platform height ranges from 360 to 710 mm. Choose two functions for general wards and three where positioning changes often through the day.
Do you supply hospital beds in Saudi Arabia and in Egypt?
Yes. The Madinah factory supplies Saudi Arabia, where HOSPIcare beds are SFDA-licensed (ML-2023-MD-0885) and carry the Saudi Made mark. The Badr City factory supplies Egypt. Both build the full PRIME care range under ISO 13485:2016, and the group exports to more than 15 countries.
Do you make a bariatric hospital bed?
Yes. The MLP-11 and MLP-12 are three-function bariatric beds with a 300 kg safe working load, a 120 cm wide sleeping surface and a 61 cm height. They keep the same castors, ABS boards and IV pole as the rest of the range, and accept the same options, including central braking and a backup battery.
Are PRIME care hospital beds registered with NUPCO?
HOSPIcare is a NUPCO-registered supplier in Saudi Arabia under code 401663, with 33 line items awarded on framework NPT0027-24 for medical furniture, including the F5 (MLH-01) and MEDcare Santron beds. Send us your tender line items and we confirm coverage model by model, in writing, with the full documentation set.
What is included when a hospital bed is delivered?
Delivery includes assembly, positioning in the ward and a handover session for nursing and biomedical staff covering operation, cleaning and routine checks. Standard configurations from stock ship within 2–3 weeks; made-to-order ward quantities typically take 6–10 weeks from confirmed order. Spare parts stay available for at least ten years after a model is discontinued.
